Reading Books

Jack got some books from Uncle Marlon and Aunt Linda for his birthday.
Can you believe that Jack is 4? It doesn't seem like four years have gone by.
Where did the time go?

They got him four books from the Green Light Reader series. It is a really great series. I had never heard of them before. There are some fun activities at the end of each book to relate back to the book. Sometimes there are some questions.

He has been reading these books all day long. He likes to arrange them in the order he is going to read them. Then he will make you pick the one you want to read (or listen to him read).

This one is his favorite. I can't even tell you how many times we have read it.

The Heard Museum, McKinney, TX

Jack and I went on an adventure the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah.
He was out of school for the day, so we went with some friends to the Heard Museum.
http://www.heardmuseum.org/

They had a special exhibit called Dinosaurs Roar. There was a 1/2 mile trail that had "dinosaurs" throughout the trail. Each dinosaur had information about it just like an animal at a zoo. It was very interesting!

Our first dinosaur!

Henry Talking

It has been almost a month since I posted pictures -
so much going on around here.

Here is a video of Henry "talking"

My camera is missing in action - so I'm using an older camera that we "found" upstairs.
I can't believe he is almost 3 months old. Where did the time go???

Today Jack and I went to Central Market (grocery store) and played in the "Red Barn." He had a fun time running around all by himself.

HENRY

He has a name!

Henry Michael Koenigsberg

We are enjoying a quiet moment in the hospital.
(somewhat quiet - at 6:30 pm they are testing the fire alarm system in the parking garage. My room is in the building across from the garage. The alarm has now been going off for 10 minutes. Why can't this hospital just choose to test fire alarms when I am not here???)

The boys are at home eating dinner with Nana (Grandma Jenifer).

We had 5 months to figure out a name for our baby.
(once we knew the sex)
No name before baby was born...
Then he was born and we decided that
we would see what he looked like and then pick a name.
Well, he looks JUST like Jack did as a newborn.
And since we aren't George Foreman, can't name him Jack.
So here is the latest picture of Henry.

He in enjoying a moment in my shirt - just like being baby wrapped.
So nice and warm next to mom!

Baby K #3

No name yet for our boy.
Working on that one.
